Logo Design
Our design team crafted a logo that pairs the elegance of the pelican with the dynamism of a cricket player, symbolizing the foundation's seamless blend of sports and academics. The logo speaks about the nobility and wisdom the foundation stands for.
Colour Palette
A well-considered colour palette brings harmony and resonance to a brand. We focused on blues to invoke feelings of security and wisdom, and complementary gold tones for a dash of inspiration and wealth—meant in terms of knowledge and opportunity.
Typography
We selected a typography style that is modern yet timeless, reflecting the brand's mission to help young talent rise above circumstance. The fonts resonate with the academic seriousness, while also being fluid enough to echo the movement on the cricket pitch.

Softserve Digital turned the abstract virtues of The Pelican Foundation into a tangible brand. This rebrand has far-reaching impacts, including securing a bursary named after a Protea player and featuring the new logo on first-team jerseys. But perhaps the most significant value is the newfound sense of unity and aspiration that now embodies the foundation.
